Questions People Ask Us

Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes combined with kneading and gentle friction to release muscle tension, encourage circulation and calm the nervous system. It is the most widely practised form of massage in the world and suits almost everyone. It is relaxing rather than punishing.

No. You undress only to the level you are comfortable with, and you stay covered by towels for the whole session. Only the area being worked on is uncovered at any given time, and you get the room to yourself to get ready.

It should not. Swedish massage works at a relaxing pressure rather than a deep clinical one. Tight areas can feel tender as they let go, but you are in control: say the word at any point and we will adjust.

For general work stress and desk tension, most clients settle into every three to four weeks. If you are dealing with a specific stubborn area, coming more often to start with and then spacing sessions out tends to work better.

Treatments take place at our Slough studio, which is where the proper couches, warm towels and quiet rooms are. For teams, get in touch about group bookings and we will find an arrangement that works for your business.

A few conditions mean massage is not suitable, or needs your doctor approval first. Recent surgery, certain skin conditions and some circulatory problems are examples. Mention anything relevant when you enquire and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
